Nature of the website

Player profiles are published with the consent of the players or their legal representatives. Football information is provided by the players or their representatives and checked by the moderation team. Assessments and scouting ratings, made with the method published on the “Assessment method” page, are indicative opinions that guarantee neither a trial, nor a contract, nor a transfer.

Intellectual property

All content on this website (texts, layout, logo) is the property of the co-owners listed above, unless stated otherwise. Its operation is entrusted to ADOUABO Sport Management Project SARL. Any reproduction without prior permission is prohibited.

Personal data

The website collects personal data through three forms. The club and agent access request forms collect the applicant’s professional contact details (and, for an agent, their FIFA licence number) in order to process the request and open access. The “Submit a player” form collects: identity and contact details of the person completing it, and the player’s identity, football data, video and photo. The passport copy is not collected through the form: it is requested later, through a secure channel, only from accepted players. This data is received by the form service of our host Netlify (United States), then processed by Mr Constantin Adouko ADOUABO and ADOUABO Sport Management Project SARL, as joint controllers, to assess, publish and present the player’s profile to clubs and agents, including outside Côte d’Ivoire.

Retention: up to 3 years after the last contact; at most 6 months for a profile that is not accepted; 30 days after verification for the passport copy, which is never published. The website has no user account; audience measurement, without cookies or personal data, is described below.

User accounts. To present a player, an adult player, an agent or a club creates an account (email address and password, or Google login). The account, the profile (name, phone, country and, as applicable, agent licence or club) and the player profiles, with their photos and documents (parental consent and representation contract for a minor), are hosted by Netlify (United States), in a private space accessible only to the account holder and the Akwascout team. Account contact details and documents are never published; only the football information and photo of a validated profile are. This data is kept as long as the account exists; users can delete it at any time from “My space”. The parental consent of a minor player is kept as long as their profile is published, then for one year. The terms of use of accounts are set out on the Terms of use page.

Fonts are loaded from the Fontshare service (Indian Type Foundry). In doing so, your IP address is sent to this provider, as with any external web resource.

People living in the European Union (GDPR). Regulation (EU) 2016/679 applies to the data of players, agents, clubs and visitors living in the European Union, including France. Legal bases: consent for the publication and sharing of a player’s profile (which can be withdrawn at any time); performance of a contract for account management and services ordered; legal obligation for invoicing; legitimate interest for website security and fraud prevention. Data is hosted by Netlify in the United States; this transfer is covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses). You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw your consent, by writing to asmp-org@caramail.fr; we reply within one month. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or the data protection authority of your country. For a player under 15 living in France, no profile is published; between 15 and 18, the written consent of the holders of parental authority is required.

Under Ivorian Law no. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify and object. For any question, write to asmp-org@caramail.fr. You may also contact the Telecommunications/ICT Regulatory Authority of Côte d’Ivoire (ARTCI — www.artci.ci) or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority of your country.

Cookies and local storage

This website uses no cookies. Only your display preference (light or dark mode) is stored in your browser. This storage is strictly necessary for the service you request, does not require consent and is never transmitted.

When you fill in the “Submit a player” form, your answers are saved as a draft in your browser, on your device only, so that you can finish later. This draft is not sent to us until you submit the form; it is deleted when you submit it, or when you click “Delete the draft”.

To measure traffic on its pages, the website may use GoatCounter, an audience measurement service that sets no cookies, does not track visitors from one visit to the next and collects no personal data that could identify them. Only aggregate figures are kept (visits per page, country, device type).

If you install Akwascout as an app on your phone, a copy of the public pages and profiles is stored on your device so that you can browse offline. This copy contains no personal data about you; you can delete it by uninstalling the app or clearing the site data in your browser.
