Terms of use of accounts

1. Purpose

These terms govern the creation and use of an account on Akwascout, which allows football players to be presented for assessment and publication. Creating an account means accepting these terms and the privacy policy set out in the legal notice.

2. Who can create an account

  • An adult player (18 or over), for their own profile only.
  • An agent holding a valid FIFA football agent licence, for the players they represent.
  • A club, represented by an authorised person, for its own players.

A player under 18 cannot create an account. They can only be registered by their agent, who uploads the written consent of their parents or legal guardian and the representation contract. No player under 15 is accepted.

3. User commitments

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date; never impersonate a player, an agent or a club.
  • Have the consent of the player (or their legal representative) before creating their profile, and the rights to the photos and videos uploaded.
  • Never upload an identity document in the profile fields: it is requested separately, through a secure channel.
  • Keep the password confidential and report any unauthorised use of the account without delay.

The agent also guarantees the validity of their licence, the existence of a representation contract with each registered player and, for a minor, the written parental consent. They indemnify Akwascout against any claim arising from a breach of these guarantees.

4. Checking and publication

Each profile sent is checked automatically, then reviewed by the Akwascout team, which remains free to publish it, ask for more information or decline it. Publication guarantees neither a favourable assessment, nor a trial, a contract or a transfer. The scouting rating is set by independent assessors using the published method; no payment influences it.

5. Personal data

Account and profile data are processed by Mr Constantin Adouko ADOUABO and ADOUABO Sport Management Project SARL, as described in the legal notice. Account contact details are never published. Users can delete their account data at any time from “My space”.

6. Suspension and deletion

Akwascout may suspend or delete an account, or remove a profile, in the event of false information, lack of the player’s consent, breach of these terms or harm to the interests of a minor player.

7. Liability

Akwascout uses reasonable means to ensure the operation and security of the service, without guaranteeing continuous availability. Users are solely responsible for the information they provide.

8. Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the version in force is published on this page. They are governed by Ivorian law. The parties will first seek an amicable solution; failing that, the dispute is brought before the Commercial Court of Abidjan, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
